IFS is different when you're in the client chair.
Many therapists come to IFS because they've seen it work in trainings, in supervision, in their clients' sessions. And they want to experience it for themselves.
IFS meets you exactly where you are. It doesn't require you to set aside what you know. It works with your clinical knowledge, your self-awareness, and your parts — including the parts that over-function, the parts that feel responsible for everyone, and the parts that have been carrying things since long before graduate school.
This is also a space where you don't have to explain the field. You don't have to justify your boundaries or translate what vicarious trauma actually costs. You can just be a person in a room who needs support and that's enough.
✓ A therapist, counselor, social worker, psychologist, or other mental health clinician
✓ A nurse, doctor, chaplain, teacher, or anyone whose work centers on caring for others
✓ An IFS Level 1 trained clinician who wants to experience IFS from the inside
✓ Someone navigating burnout, compassion fatigue, or the particular exhaustion of always being the helper
✓ A clinician doing your own deep personal work, separate from your professional development
✓ Someone who wants a therapist who genuinely understands the world you work in
I work with a lot of therapists. Not because I set out to build that niche, but because they keep finding me and I understand why.
There is something specific about being a clinician who needs support. The training that makes you good at your work also makes it harder to be vulnerable in someone else's office. You know too much about what the therapist is thinking. You monitor yourself even when you're trying to let go.
I hold that complexity with care. You don't have to perform wellness here. You can just show up.
Individual therapy sessions are $275 per 55-minute session.I am an out-of-network provider with most insurance companies. Many clients use their out-of-network benefits for reimbursement. I'm happy to provide a superbill to support that process.
A Good Faith Estimate is provided to all clients before beginning services, in accordance with the No Surprises Act. Questions about rates, insurance, or sliding scale availability can be addressed during your free consultation.
