IFS Therapy For Therapists &
Helping Professionals

You know more about healing than almost anyone in your life. You hold space for others with skill, warmth, and genuine care. And you are overdue for a space that holds you.

You became a helper because you care deeply. And that care is a gift. But it comes with a particular kind of weight that people outside this field rarely understand.

  • You know exactly what your patterns are. You still can't stop them.

  • You hold space for other people's pain all day and have nowhere to put your own

  • You're trained in all the frameworks and sometimes feel like you're supposed to have it more together than you do

  • You worry about whether your own unprocessed material is showing up in session

  • You're the strong one for your clients, your supervisees, your colleagues, your family

  • You give and give and give and the thought of asking for the same is genuinely uncomfortable

Being a therapist doesn't protect you from needing therapy. In some ways it makes it harder to ask for it.

You understand the theory. You live the complexity.

Why Therapists Choose IFS
For Their Own Inner Work

IFS is different when you're in the client chair.

Many therapists come to IFS because they've seen it work in trainings, in supervision, in their clients' sessions. And they want to experience it for themselves.

IFS meets you exactly where you are. It doesn't require you to set aside what you know. It works with your clinical knowledge, your self-awareness, and your parts — including the parts that over-function, the parts that feel responsible for everyone, and the parts that have been carrying things since long before graduate school.

This is also a space where you don't have to explain the field. You don't have to justify your boundaries or translate what vicarious trauma actually costs. You can just be a person in a room who needs support and that's enough.

A note from Kiara

I work with a lot of therapists. Not because I set out to build that niche, but because they keep finding me and I understand why.

There is something specific about being a clinician who needs support. The training that makes you good at your work also makes it harder to be vulnerable in someone else's office. You know too much about what the therapist is thinking. You monitor yourself even when you're trying to let go.

I hold that complexity with care. You don't have to perform wellness here. You can just show up.
